DNA Pattern

Human DNA is an incredibly complex molecule that serves as the blueprint for every living organism. It is made up of two strands of nucleic acid that are twisted together in a unique double helix structure. Each strand is composed of four different chemicals known as bases, which are represented by the letters A, T, C and G. These bases pair up in specific ways, forming the rungs of the double helix ladder. This structure stores information that allows cells to grow and function, and also holds the instructions needed to create proteins, which are essential to the development and functioning of the body. In the early 1990s, the Human Genome Initiative was created to sequence the entire human genome and map out the location of all human genes. This effort has been greatly advanced by technological advances in the past few decades and has provided us with a greater understanding of the genetic basis of human diseases and conditions. In addition, it has created a platform for gene therapies and personalised medicine, allowing us to tailor treatments to individual patients.
